Brick Lane Brasserie | Indian Restaurant & Curry House in London

Review analysis
food

Really good curry house.

We went as a group, they gave us a much better deal than our old curry house (monsoon) offered this year.

The setting is above average for the Whitechapel end of brick lane.

Like with all brick lane curry houses, if you know what you want and how much you are willing to pay and agree it in advance you can get a great deal here.

Definitely well above average for brick lane.

drinks

We have a great Tap Room which is open Tuesday – Friday 5-10pm, Saturday 12noon to 10pm and Sunday’s 12noon – 8pm.

With 20 taps of goodness, it’s a place to come and experience the brewery and taste our beers direct from the source.

All our foundation range beers are available plus seasonals, small run taproom exclusives and guest draught and bottles which we have hunted down just for you and are a showcase of our favourite beers whether this is the oldest and best examples of their style to our latest finds.

Brick Pizza, Norwich, restaurant review: 'It would be hard to find ...

Tucked away next to Norwich market, Brick Pizza prides itself on ‘proper pizza’ made the ‘proper way’.

Small, but pleasingly open and light, with a trendy minimalist interior, pizza is cooked from scratch in a wood-fired oven.

It is a casual sit-in or takeaway place, and on Mondays you can buy your own pizza and take it next door to the Sir Garnet pub to enjoy with a drink.

The menu is not extensive, but has everything you would expect from a good pizza restaurant, and is actually fairly impressive considering the size of the place.

The pizza was truly delicious - perfectly cooked on a thin base with that signature smoky tangy taste you can only get from wood-fired pizza, although it had a fairly doughy consistency, but I prefer that texture over crispy edges, and it managed to avoid being too soft or wet in consistency.
